I was born in the town of Pietermaritzburg, South Africa and went to my first schools here. I studied Environmental Management in Cape Town for which I received a Diploma qualification and went to work as an Environmental Scientist.

Growing up I always loved watching TV channels about nature, biodiversity and travel; the passion for Landscape, Nature and Street Photography stems from such TV shows as I have always seen myself with a camera. I purchased a camera to feed my passion, give the world a show of South Africa.
